East Midlands Trains introduced a new Sunday service on the Nottingham to Worksop ‘Robin Hood’ line from the start of the Winter 2008 timetable on 14 December. On this date, recently refurbished Class 158 no. 158783 passes Linby in damp and murky weather conditions with the 0826 Nottingham to Worksop service. This was the first passenger train to operate between the two centres along the ‘Robin Hood Line’ since October 1964! |
