The Immingham Bulk Terminal in North Lincolnshire can handle 2000 tonnes of imported iron ore per hour, which is primarily bound by rail for the steelworks at S****horpe. To cater for this important freight flow, EWS provides two Class 60 locomotives and three rakes of dedicated wagons daily. On Monday 14 July 2008, no. 60079 'Foinaven' is photographed twixt New Barnetby and Barnetby with the 1329 (6T25) Immingham to Santon (S****horpe) loaded iron ore train. |
