In mid 2008, Network Rail closed three signal boxes at Hademere, Lichfield, and Tamworth as part of the ongoing WCML Trent Valley (T.V.) Four Tracking scheme. On Friday 20 June, Class 390 ‘Pendolino’ no. 390045 'Virgin Valiant' passes the site of the demolished Lichfield T. V. box with the 1429 Lancaster to London Euston service. |
