EWS liveried class 67 67020 is seen here departing Heaton Carriage Sidings near Newcastle Upon Tyne on the 22nd April 2008. This loco and its sister loco 67003 were 'top and tailing' a rake of MkII coaches as a replacement service for the Grand Central HST set which was due to work the 17.30 from Sunderland to Kings Cross. Due to the failure of several of the Grand Central HST power cars, these 67's and the coaches have been leased from EWS as replacements |
