The main differences are;
The 1957 version was moulded using Cellulose Acetate, which has a shiny finish, and is prone to bowing with age, though this model doesn't seem to have suffered too badly.
The 1958 version was moulded using Polystyrene, which has a matt finish
to the bodyshell. Also, a small Lion & Wheel transfer used instead of the earlier large one. |
