On Friday 28 March 2008, Class 170/1 unit no. 170110 passes the former Shipstones brewery at Beeston with the 1245 Cardiff Central to Nottingham service. Shipstones ‘Star’ Brewery was established by James Shipstone in 1852. The brewery was closed in 1990 after being taken over by Greenalls. |
