Thunderbird to the rescue. EWS liveried class 67 67016 worked a very late running service to London on Friday 27th April 2007. The class 91 that should have worked this service failed in Edinburgh. I caught this train from Newcastle to York. It was running over an hour late at Newcastle and lost more time by being held in the up slow loops North of York, being overtaken by another MKIV set and a Virgin Voyager! |
